Alternanthera Reineckii ‘Mini’
Alternanthera reineckii ‘Mini’ is a small variety of the aquatic plant Alternanthera reineckii, commonly known as “red hygro” or “red hygrophila.” It is native to South America and is often used in aquascaping and as a foreground plant in freshwater aquariums.
Known for its bright red to purple coloration and requires medium to high lighting and moderate to high levels of CO2 to thrive.
It is considered an easy to medium plant to care for and is a popular choice among aquarists.
AR Mini requires frequent pruning and shaping in order to bunch elegantly as per the photos attached.
