Needle Leaf Java Fern is a narrow-leaved variant of the classic Microsorum pteropus, loved for its fine, delicate appearance and undemanding care. With slender, pointed leaves that grow in tufts, it brings a graceful, flowing texture to aquascapes—perfect for creating contrast against broader-leaved plants or driftwood features.
This epiphytic plant grows best when attached to hardscape (wood, stone, or mesh), making it easy to place and reposition without disturbing substrate.

Care Instructions:
- Lighting: Low to moderate light; high light may increase algae on leaves
- CO₂: Not required
- Placement: Attach rhizome to hardscape; do not bury in substrate
- Trimming: Remove older or damaged leaves at the base; plantlets can form on older leaves and be propagated
- Water Parameters: 20–28°C, pH 6.0–7.5; highly adaptable
