Shipping Options and Times

New Zealand Shipping:

  • Standard Shipping: Orders are typically dispatched within 1 business day. Delivery times vary based on the destination.
  • Urban Areas: 1-3 business days
  • Rural Areas: 2-5 business days
  • Courier Services Used: NZ Post and Aramex.

International Shipping to Australia:

  • Dry Goods Only: We currently ship only dry goods to Australia. Live plants and bulky fragile items like aquariums are excluded.
  • Customs Responsibility: The Aquascape Shop is not responsible for goods that fail to clear customs.
  • Shipping Quote: Please contact us for a shipping quote while we work on automating our shipping rates to Australia.

Free Shipping Policy

  • Eligibility: Free shipping is available for New Zealand customers with a minimum purchase of $150.00.
  • Non-Rural Addresses Only: This offer applies only to non-rural addresses.
  • Exclusions: Bulky items such as aquariums are excluded from the free shipping offer.

Shipping Fees

  • Freight Calculation: Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on the destination and the weight/size of the items.
  • Non-Refundable: Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the order was canceled before dispatch.

Pick-Up Option

Order Pick-Up:

  • Orders are usually ready for pick-up within 3-5 hours but could take up to 24 hours depending on stock availability and location.
  • We will notify you if there are any anticipated delays.
  • For urgent pick-ups, please contact us to expedite your order.

Packaging and Handling

  • Secure Packaging: All items are carefully packaged to ensure they arrive in perfect condition.
  • Environmentally Friendly Materials: Whenever possible, we use recyclable and biodegradable packaging materials.

Delivery Issues

Lost or Delayed Shipments:

  • The Aquascape Shop is not responsible for delays, losses, or damages caused by the shipping carrier. However, we will assist in tracking and resolving these issues to the best of our ability.

Damaged Items:

  • If you receive a damaged item, please contact us within 7 days of receipt with photos of the damaged item and packaging. We will arrange for a replacement or refund.

Special Delivery Services

Fish Tank Delivery:

  • Auckland: We can deliver fish tanks within Auckland. For large tanks, we do not ship outside of Auckland due to their fragility.
  • Quote: Please contact us to confirm rates and receive a quote for tank deliveries.

International Shipping Details

Customs and Import Taxes:

  • International orders may be subject to customs fees, import taxes, or other charges, which are the responsibility of the recipient. Please check with your local customs office for more information.

Restricted Items:

  • We do not ship live plants or bulky fragile items like aquariums internationally.
