Description
Eleocharis Acicularis is commonly known as Needle Spikerush or Hairgrass, not Dwarf Hairgrass. It is a popular choice for aquascaping due to its fine, grass-like leaves and ability to create a dense carpet-like effect in the foreground of aquariums. It is native to North America and can be found in wetlands and shallow water bodies. Eleocharis Acicularis prefers moderate to high lighting and nutrient-rich substrates for optimal growth. It can propagate quickly through runners, making it an excellent option for creating a lush and natural-looking aquascape.

We recommend the usage of a 2HR Aquarist Fertilizer with all our aquarium plants for the best growth, colouration and plant health.
Submerged: A plant grown completely below the tank’s waterline.
Emersed: A plant with growth above the tank’s waterline (leaves/stems, flowers).

A great plant, very easy to grow in substrate, though it doesn’t seem to like silica sand. I use around the edges and back of my tank.
