APT Start, from 2Hr Aquarist, is an innovative solution designed to enrich substrates and accelerate tank cycling in new aquarium setups. This all-in-one booster combines substrate enhancers with powerful starter bacteria to create an optimal foundation for planted aquariums. It activates immediately upon setup, enhancing substrate nutrient availability while building a robust biological filtration system to break down ammonia, nitrites, and other organic wastes.

APT Start is especially effective for aquasoils but can also enhance inert substrates like sand or gravel, transforming them into more plant-friendly environments. Its specially curated bacteria strains expedite the cycling process, allowing you to establish a stable aquarium much faster than traditional methods.

Usage Instructions:

1. Prepare: Open the pouch and remove the blue sachet of dormant bacteria.
2. Apply: Spread the main pouch contents evenly at the base of the tank.
3. Cover: Add your chosen substrate and aquascape over the layer.
4. Activate: Tear open the blue sachet and pour the bacteria into the water after filling the tank.
5. Monitor: Allow the tank to cycle fully before introducing fish or sensitive livestock.

Considerations:

• For optimal results, maintain a substrate depth of at least 1.5 inches (4 cm).
• While it enhances inert substrates, it does not make them equivalent to aquasoil.
• Ensure stable water parameters before introducing fish or shrimp.
