Aquapro Glass Lily Pipe Set

Lily pipes are the easiest way to make a planted tank look finished. Once they're in, the glass more or less disappears against the background, so instead of staring at chunky black filter pipes you just see the aquascape. This set covers both ends of your canister filter, with a slotted inlet to draw water out and a lily-shaped outlet to return it.

The outlet is the part that does the visible work. Its flared bell spreads the return into a soft, wide current rather than a hard jet, which moves CO₂ and nutrients around the tank evenly and keeps the surface gently rippling so you don't get that stagnant film on top. Plants get fed, gas exchange improves, and your fish aren't getting pushed around by a firehose.

The inlet has a spiral-slotted intake at the bottom. It pulls water in efficiently while keeping leaves, debris and curious shrimp or small fish out of your filter, which means fewer clogs and nothing unfortunate ending up in the canister. Both pipes hold in place with the included suction cups, so installing them or pulling them out for a clean is a two-minute job.

Pick the size that matches your filter tubing. The 12/16 mm suits filters running 12/16 mm hose, the 16/22 mm suits the larger 16/22 mm standard, so it works with most popular external canister filters either way. A standard pipe brush is all you need to keep them clear.
