Description
Description
Premium Black Mountain Seiryu Stone is a standout choice for aquascapers, offering a rich black color with naturally occurring white striations that bring contrast and depth to any aquarium. Each stone is unique, showcasing rugged textures and layered ridges that create a dramatic yet natural look, ideal for Iwagumi and nature-inspired setups. These stones are handpicked for their bold, earthy appeal, easily transforming your tank into a scene reminiscent of mountain landscapes.
Seiryu Stone is slightly alkaline due to its calcium carbonate content, which may cause a subtle increase in pH over time. For most aquariums, this shift is minimal and manageable, adding a gentle natural buffering that benefits many freshwater setups. This quality makes Seiryu Stone an excellent choice for aquarists looking to craft an ecosystem that stays visually striking and maintains stability.
Please note, stone sizes range from 10cm to 35cm, and pieces are selected at random to ensure an organic layout in your aquascape. You’re welcome to leave a note at checkout for specific size preferences, and we’ll do our best to accommodate based on availability.
Sold by weight: you get the weight you choose, so a 25 kg box is 25 kg of stone. Pieces vary in size and shape.
