Description
Description
Monitor and maintain the optimal CO2 levels in your aquarium with the CO2 Art Glass Drop Checker Kit. This essential tool helps you ensure a balanced and healthy environment for your aquatic plants by visually indicating CO2 levels with a simple color change. The kit includes a glass drop checker, a 15ml pre-mixed drop checker solution, and a high-quality suction cup for easy installation. Made from premium low iron glass, it provides both accuracy and durability for reliable, long-term use. No mixing or preparation is required, making this kit easy to use for both beginners and professionals alike. The drop checker turns green when CO2 levels are ideal, blue if CO2 is too low, and yellow if it’s too high, giving you a clear and immediate reading of your tank's CO2 concentration.
Dimensions:
- Outside Diameter: 3 cm
- Height: 5.5 cm
Instructions for Use:
- Install the Drop Checker: Fill the glass drop checker with the pre-mixed 15ml solution (included). Do not dilute or mix the solution, it’s ready to use straight from the bottle.
- Place the Drop Checker in Your Aquarium: Using the suction cup, position the drop checker inside your aquarium near the middle or slightly lower in the tank. Ensure it’s away from any direct CO2 injection sites or strong currents to get an accurate reading.
-
Monitor the Color Change: After 2-3 hours, the solution inside the drop checker will change color, indicating the CO2 levels in the tank.
- Green: Ideal CO2 levels.
- Blue: CO2 levels are too low, indicating the need for more CO2.
- Yellow: CO2 levels are too high and can be harmful to fish—reduce CO2 injection.
Maintenance: Clean the drop checker weekly to avoid algae buildup and ensure accurate readings. Replace the solution every 2-4 weeks for best results.
