Hygrophila polysperma 'Rosanervig', often sold as Sunset hygro, is a stem plant with pale, marbled leaves and pink to white ribs against a green background. Stems reach 20 to 40cm tall and 5 to 8cm wide, sitting comfortably in the midground or as a colourful background group.
It is an easygoing grower that puts on its best pink with strong light. Give it plenty of light and the leaves deepen towards a rich pink, while dimmer tanks stay paler and greener. It sometimes throws a shoot that reverts to plain green, so pinch those out to keep the marbled look. The pale ribs come from a harmless virus that stops chlorophyll forming around the veins, and it does not affect the other plants in your aquarium.
