Limnophila Aromatica Green (Rare) - Emersed is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
Description
Description
Limnophila aromatica, or rice paddy herb, is a fast-growing stem plant with fine, pointed green leaves arranged in whorls up the stem. It grows tall, so it sits best in the background where it forms an upright, leafy backdrop. In New Zealand this green form is rare and only recently available again.
It is tolerant of a wide range of water parameters and easy to grow, which makes it a forgiving background filler. Trim it hard and it responds by throwing side shoots and becoming dense and bushy. It holds up well to being grown close together, copes with a little self-shading, and can be pruned for months on end without needing a replant, since the lower portions stay healthy and resprout after each trim.
