Description
Ludwigia x Lacustris (Arcuata)
Ludwigia x lacustris is a very rare natural hybrid of L. brevipes and L. palustris. It is found in some locations in the east and south-east of the USA. As aquarium plant, this narrow-leaved Ludwigia is not very well-known yet.Curiously, some of the areas where L. x lacustris occurs are outside the distribution area of L. brevipes, which is mainly found in the south-east of Virginia as well as in North and South Carolina. Where L. x lacustris occurs in nature it grows abundantly and sometimes even out populates its parent species.Inspiration
