Stainless Steel Aquarium Air Line Control Valve

An inline air control valve for tuning airflow in an aquarium air line. The barbed connectors take a length of standard airline at each end, and the lever tap lets you restrict, increase or fully shut off the air passing through, so you can set the exact bubble rate at an air stone, sponge filter or air-driven ornament without adjusting the pump or unplugging anything.

Installation:

1. Cut your air line where you want the control point, between the pump and the air stone or sponge filter.
2. Push the airline from the pump side onto one barbed end of the valve, and the airline running to your device onto the other end.
3. A check valve between the pump and this valve is recommended to prevent water back-siphoning if the pump stops.
4. Turn the lever to set the airflow to the bubble rate you want, or fully closed to stop that line.
