This premium kit substitutes cumbersome high-pressure gas cylinders with a safe, efficient citric acid + baking soda chemical reaction housed in a robust stainless steel vessel. Ideal for nano to medium tanks, this 1 L version delivers reliable CO₂ output, full regulator control and finish-level components.
What’s included in the kit
- 1 L polished stainless steel CO₂ generator cylinder
- Precision CO₂ regulator with gauge & needle valve
- 12 V DC solenoid valve for on/off control (timer compatible)
- Aluminium bubble counter with integrated check valve
- Ceramic CO₂ diffuser for fine CO₂ dispersion
- 2 m CO₂-resistant tubing (4/6 mm)
- U-bend tube holder for neat tank placement
- Suction-cup holder and mounting hardware
Instructions for use (for 1 L version)
- Add 140 g citric acid + 160 g baking soda into cylinder.
- Pour in 200 ml water carefully (tilt cylinder to minimise foam).
- Attach regulator and watch pressure build.
- Prime bubble counter with water (~¾ full), connect tubing and diffuser.
- Secure tubing around rim with U-bend tool, set bubble rate.
- For best results: 0.5–1 bubble/second is a good start for moderate setups; adjust as plants respond.
