这种植物生长迅速，适合新手种植，但在从水生植物过渡到沉水植物的过程中，很可能会脱落大部分或全部叶子。这是其适应过程的正常现象。一旦适应下来，它就会重新长出茂盛的水下叶子。

保养说明：
- 照明：中高光支持鲜艳的色彩和紧凑的形式。

- 修剪：修剪顶部并重新种植以塑造形状并促进更茂盛的生长。
- 水参数：在 22–28°C、pH 值 6.5–7.5 时表现良好；可耐受一定范围的水硬度。
- 营养物质：基质和水柱肥料的益处——尤其是用于红色调的铁。
- 重要提示：将挺水型茎种植在水下时，很容易出现落叶现象。这是正常现象。健康的茎会恢复生长，并长出新的水生叶。
有浮水式和浸水式两种形式：
