Week Aqua T8 PRO Submersible Tanning Light LED

The Week Aqua T8 PRO Submersible Tanning Light is a fully submersible LED tube designed to bring out the colour in arowana, goldfish and other ornamental fish. Unlike colour-enhancing lights that only shift white balance, the T8 PRO carries dedicated UVA 395nm LEDs alongside its full-spectrum RGB and 6700K white beads. That UVA output is what prompts the natural pigment response behind genuine tanning, so the colour you see is developed in the fish, not just reflected by the light.

It runs through Week Aqua's Bluetooth app with 5-channel dimming, preset breeding modes, cycle timing and sunrise/sunset transitions. The preset modes are tailored for ornamental fish and cover red arowana, golden arowana, koi, parrot fish, flowerhorn, ranchu goldfish and native species. The unit is fully submersible with an IP68 rating, using a pioneering waterproof breathable valve that combines ventilation and heat dissipation in one, and an upgraded quartz glass tube for high light transmittance and corrosion resistance.

Choose your size by tank length:

• T8-1000 PRO for tanks around 100 to 120 cm
• T8-1200 PRO for tanks around 120 to 140 cm
• T8-1500 PRO for tanks around 150 to 170 cm

A note on tanning, honestly: UVA 395nm gives this light a real mechanism for developing fish colour, but genetics and the individual fish still matter most, and tanning works best as a gradual routine rather than maximum exposure. Introduce the light over short daily periods and build up. Used sensibly, it supports colour development; it cannot create colour a fish does not have the genetics for.
